The course will enable the participants to achieve the following: (1) to understand the role of the university in delivering capacity building programs to various clients; (2) to determine how to establish research teams; (3) to see the need to integrate teaching, research and community service learning programs; (4) to learn how to conduct research and governance assessments; and (6) to realize the challenges in developing collaborative governance research partnerships.
Lectures will be delivered by resource speakers from the University of British Columbia (Canada), Florida State University (United States), and De La Salle University.
