The Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (PCAMRD) is now accepting nominations for the CY 2010 Dr. Elvira O. Tan Memorial Awards for the Outstanding Fisheries Publications.

This is open to any Filipino fisheries scientist and researcher who has had a paper published either in a recognized foreign or local journal within the last five years prior to the date of the award. The paper should also not have been awarded previously.

Deadline for submission is on May 31, 2010. Awardees will be given cash prizes and plaques of recognition during the celebration of the National Science and Technology Week in July 2010.
