The University of the Philippines Baguio Social Science Research and Extension Institute (SSREI) cordially invites participants to their Summer Training on Local Adaptation to Climate Change. This training-workshop is designed for local government units, government line agencies, NGOs, the academic sector, and other institutions and agencies who recognize the need to confront the major challenge of our times and seek avenues of effective engagement in adapting to climate change. This training-workshop will be on April 26-30, 2010 at the College of Social Sciences Building, University of the Philippines Baguio.

The deadline for reservations is on April 8, 2010. The registration fee of Php 5,000 will cover training kit, electronic copy of climate change materials, snacks and heavy lunch for five days, and the use of computers and facilities. The participants are expected to make separate arrangements for accommodations or they can make reservations at UP Baguio Residence Hall with a fee of Php 150 per night.
